
- Throughout the semester, SPO offers a variety of events to further enhance and guide our students in the field of supply chain management. Our many events include, an SCM career fair, mentorship programs, career mixers, student development workshops, and many more!
- Dr. Wayhan came to UH in 2005, and created many of the Supply Chain courses we use today as a PHD student. In 2008, he helped create SPO.
- Furthermore, Dr. Wayhan was a great source of guidance when it came to understanding Supply Chain and planning students careers. He was passionate about helping students succeed in the Supply Chain field and would go above and beyond for his students.
- Dr. Wayhan passed away August 19, 2025 and since then SPO has made it a goal to continue his legacy.

- After purchasing an SPO membership, new members must create a new account on our website in order to check their points throughout the semester. It may take a couple days to get your account verified by our IT officer since we need to confirm that you have a paid membership. Please be patient with us!
- Returning members are not required to create a new account after purchasing a membership from a previous semester.
-The member points tab will only appear once you login to your account and it has been verified. You will receive an email once your account has been approved.
