Spring 2026 Committee Applications
Role Overview:
The Corporate Services Committee supports all recruiting events for the semester, including Virtual and in-person Career Fair, Career Mixers and the Headshot event. The exact scope of work will vary but may include: sourcing items, organizing event details, event/booth set-up, and company assistance. You will be expected to assist on the days of events and also periodically during the weeks leading up to events. This role requires utmost professionalism, as you will be representing Bauer SPO in front of company recruiters.
Expectations/Requirements:
-Must be a Paid Member
-Required to attend all corporate events early
-Must have availability to assist for the entirety of Career Fair, including set up, however committee members will have time allotted to recruit
-Must be able to assist during or before Career Mixers

Role Overview:
The main duties of a Student Development committee member consist of assisting the Vice President of Student Development in the execution of Student Development events. These events include: Resume Workshop, Mock Interview, Career Fair Prep, and usually 2-3 more skill-based workshops. In addition, the committee will help with announcements and greetings, and will have the opportunity to lead events as well!
Expectations/Requirements:
-Must be a Paid Member
-Required to attend all student development events early
-Must dress business casual to all events, unless stated otherwise
-Must be able to meet weekly to help plan educational events (Resume Workshop, Mock Interview, Career Fair Prep, and 2-3 more skill-based workshops)
-Help with announcements during student development events and rotations

Role Overview:
The Finance committee will assist the VP of Finance with tracking financial transactions for budgeting purposes. The committee will also have the opportunity to understand the behind-the-scenes financial standpoint of Bauer SPO and assist the VP with other miscellaneous tasks as required.
Expectations/Requirements:
-Must be a Paid Member
- Member graduating during Dec 2026 or after
-Required to attend all events early as required by the officer
-Must dress business casual for all events unless specified
-Must attend all events for the respective position
-Must be able to attend practice runs for planned events
-Must be able to assist in all finance events

Role Overview:
Main duties as an Alumni Relations committee member will consist of assisting the Vice President of Alumni Relations with our alumni mentorship program and various workshops. As a part of this committee you'll also be working with the behind the scenes for the SPO CoffeeChats podcast. Responsibilities will include coming with questions, finding potential quest speakers and editing the podcast as well. This position will help you gain insight on this officer position and work with SPO behind the scenes!

-Must dress business casual to all events, unless stated otherwise
-Must attend all events for respective position, preferably early

Role Overview:
Would you like to see the logistics that go into an event? Then you're in the right place! By joining the Operations committee, you will get an inside look at how an event is planned and executed. Committee members will help prepare for the events, and be able to work closely with their committee and interact with members and guests at events. If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced, and thrilling role then the operations committee is right for you!
Expectations/Requirements:
-Must be a Paid Member
-Required to attend all events early for respective position
- Business casual for all events, unless told otherwise
- Committee members will be required to attend all corporate events, student development workshops, and fun nights.
- No commitments (class, work, etc.) after 4 pm Monday-Thursdays
- Must be able to help in inventory management
- Must be at events 30min-1hr before if needed
- Assist in safety moments for general meetings

The Procurement Committee will support the organization by assisting the VP of procurement with purchasing, event preparation, and operational tasks throughout the semester. Committee members will work closely with the VP of Procurement and the VP of Logistics to ensure SPO events are prepared efficiently.
Committee Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Must be a Paid Member
- Required to attend all events early for the respective position
- Business casual for all events, unless told otherwise
- Committee members will be required to attend all corporate events, student development workshops, and fun nights, unless told otherwise
- Help receive, organize, and set up food and supplies for in-person events.
- Help with general organizational tasks as needed to support the officer team.
- Must be at the event 30 minutes to 1 hour before if needed
- No commitments (class, work, etc) after 4 pm Mondays-Thursdays

Role Overview:
Main duties as an Information Technology Committee Member will be to stimulate conversation with members at virtual events and contribute ideas to update the website. Information Technology Committee Members will learn how to modernize the website and learn functions related to the website. You would not need any prior experience related with coding or building a website for this role. This position will help you gain insight behind our virtual set-up, work behind the scenes with the officers, and most importantly, have fun while learning about the officer position!

-Must attend all events for respective position
-Arrive early to ALL events and be able to help members with any IT complications

Role Overview:
The Marketing Committee is responsible for promoting Bauer SPO and Supply Chain across campus. Committee members will be in charge of posting, spreading and creating content related to SPO events and Supply Chain as a whole. The team will become a creative machine and our goal will be to increase member interaction on our social media platforms.

-Must be familiar with operating social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & Linkedin)

Role Overview:
The main duties of the Public Relations Committee will consist of assisting the VP of Public Relations with all socials and philanthropy events. Some of these responsibilities might include putting the logistics together to plan many general meeting socials and philanthropy events. Additionally, committee members assist in the planning process and execution of Banquet (held in person).

-Must dress business casual to all events unless specified
-Must attend all public relations events, including Banquet
-Must be able to attend weekly committee member meetings
-Must be able to help plan Socials, Philanthropy Events, and Banquet

Role Overview:
One of the main duties as a Communications committee member will consist of assisting the VP of Communications with the weekly newsletter, creating sign-ups, and serving as a mode of communication for SPO members. The committee members will also be helping with event text message alerts and organizing the logistics for the SCM panel.

-Must have been an "active" status member in the previous semester
-Must be a Paid Member

-Must be flexible for majority of events

Role Overview:
The main duties as a Campus Activities Committee Member will consist of assisting the Vice President of Campus Activities with all fundraisers and related events such as fun nights and tailgates. Some of these responsibilities might include leading a fun night or helping prepare event materials. If you are looking to socialize with other members/officers as well as learn more about the organization, this position is for you!

-Must be a paid member
-Must dress business casual to all events, unless stated otherwise
-Must attend all events for respective position, including Tailgates
-Must be able to attend practice runs for planned events
-Must be able to assist in all campus activities events
The main duties as a Philanthropy Committee Member will consist of assisting the VP of Philanthropy with respective events. Some responsibilities may include assisting with volunteer schedules, developing promotional materials to raise awareness about volunteering and fundraising events, and any on-the-day event management.
